ARIK BAMBIR
Today I want to tell you about my best teacher, a good
friend, a good man, and a wonderful musician who plays many different
instruments. He has been playing in the rock group Bambir since the time when
he was nine and at the age of 16 he traveled around the world with the group.
He is interested in Armenian folk music and teaches different children how to
perform Armenian folk songs. In the TUMO he is a music teacher and he conducts
a workshop which is called ““Թմբա-թա” The level of sounds”
and in this workshop he tells us about folk music, and how great folk music is.
Besides, he talks about a sound and how we can use it. In our workshop we use
different sounds for example the sound of iron, and we make music of these
sounds.
Arik also plays in different PUBs and in different
festivals. He plays folk songs and his own songs. In the Bambir he plays the flute,
and I think that he is the best flute player in Armenia. He can make many
different sounds on the flute and he does many different tricks on it. Every
time I learn more and more from my teacher and he always will be my favorite
elder friend.
My favorite rock bands and rock stars
Today I’ll tell you about my favorite rock
stars and rock bands, and at first I’ll tell you about Jimi Hendrix- the best
guitar player in the world.
Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix was the best guitar player
in the world. He was the first to play the guitar even with his teeth and
started to do many other tricks on guitar. Many people call him guitar master
and in Armenia rockers call him “Dad of guitar”. Jimi
Hendrix died when he was 27 years old, but during these years he made a
revolution in rock music.
Aerosmith
Aerosmith is an
American hard rock band, sometimes
called "The Bad Boys from Boston" and "America's Greatest
Rock and Roll Band." Their style, which is based on blues-type hard rock, also incorporates
elements of pop, heavy metal, and rhythm and blues, and has inspired
many rock artists. The band was formed in Boston, Massachusetts in 1970.
Guitarist Joe Perry and bassist Tom Hamilton, originally in a band
together called the Jam Band, met up with singer Steven Tyler, drummer Joey Kramer, and guitarist Ray Tabano, and formed Aerosmith. In
1971, Tabano was replaced by Brad Whitford, and the band began
developing a following in Boston.
They were signed to Columbia Records in 1972, and released
a string of multi-platinum albums, beginning with their 1973 eponymous debut album, followed by their 1974
album Get Your
Wings. In 1975, the band
broke into the mainstream with the album Toys in the Attic, and their 1976
follow-up Rocks cemented their status
as hard rock superstars. Two additional albums followed in 1977 and 1979.
Throughout the 1970s, the band toured extensively and charted a string of Hot
100 singles. By the end of the decade, they were among the most popular hard
rock bands in the world and developed a loyal following of fans, often referred
to as the "Blue Army". However, drug addiction and internal conflict
took their toll on the band, which resulted in the departures of Perry and
Whitford in 1979 and 1981, respectively; they were replaced by Jimmy Crespo and Rick Dufay. The band did not
fare well between 1980 and 1984, releasing a lone album, Rock in
a Hard Place, which went gold
but failed to match their previous successes.
Nirvana
Nirvana was
an American rock band which took part in college rock festival and from 14 rock
bands it took the 13-th place, but then Nirvana became very good, very beloved
and very famous rock band.
Dream Evil

Aidin Davudin
Aidin Davudin is an Armenian rock singer.
He took part in <<Armenian voice>> project and he reached 1⁄4 Final,
and he became very beloved by Armenian rockers. He sang with Armenian rock band
<<Nairi >> the song is called <<mad dog>>. In Arm Rock
Fest he was jury and in Arm Rock Fest he said that he has a new rock band and
this rock band is called <<Arta>>. He does everything to propaganda
rock music in Armenia and as I do everything to propaganda the rock music in
Armenia too I can say about him only one word “great”.
Suren Arustamyan is the best blues
guitar player in Armenia. He took part in the <<Hay superstar>>
project and took the third place. Now Suren Arustamyan has his own rock band
and he took part of the competition which was organized by Eric Clapton, And he
took the first place in it.
System
of a down
<<System
of a down>> rock band was organized in 1994 by Serj
Tankian,
Daron
Malakian,
and Shavo
Odajian.
At first the band was called Soil. Serj
played keyboards instruments, Daron
played guitar and Shavo
was producer of this band. At this time the band drummer was Andranik
Khachatryan.
But soon Andranik
Khachatryan
had an injury on his hand and he coudln’t
play the drums. Soon John Dolmayan
became the band drummer and Soil decided to refresh the band and then Shavo
became the band Bass guitar player. Then the members decided to change the band
name to <<System Of A Down>>. System of down recorded 5 albums. In
2006 the band members said that they stopped to work together. In 2010 in Shavo
Odajian’s
wedding the band member decided to begin their common work.
“Are you fed up with your parents telling you what to do?”
I think that my parents worry about me that is why they must know all about my actions, but sometimes I want to be free in my actions. If I want to do something my parents must know. I can’t do anything without my parent’s permission. Though I think that they worry about me, sometimes I get fed up with my parent’s telling me what to do. Sometimes I want to do something without my parent’s knowing I want to do this action by myself. But I must obey my parents because I am not an adult. I think that my parents worry that I can do something wrong if I do something without my parent permission. But I believe that I know what is bad, and what is good. And I must respect my parents because they do for me everything. I love my parents very much.Teenagers money
Many years ago the people lived without many. They exchanged food things and many other different products. But today the money plays an important role in our lives. Teenagers of course must have money with them. Many teenagers spend their money on transportation. Many teenagers like to visit café with friends, and they also have to buy textbooks copy-books pens and pencils for school.Many teenagers buy different things for themselves for example clothes, mobiles, books, sometimes gifts for their friends. I think that teenagers must have money with them.
British and Armenian food
Armenian food and British food have many differences.British people drink milk every day. They have fish chips, pudding and they have lunch at 12:00 o’clock. They cook the porridge in another way. They have special times for meals.Armenian food is different. We have grapes, apricot, and pomegranate. Usually we eat out. The Armenian teenagers like the chips and fast food (especially the French fries and pizza). We not have special time for food. We have a large table on holidays. And finally we have the best food in the world, the barbecue.
Recently the world has changed a lot. The industry has developed very much and this is good, but also this has brought a lot of problems.The first problem is, of course, the problem of pollution. Factories make a lot of bad chemical substances which spoil the air, the water, and the ground of our planet.The second problem is the problem of rainforests. Many trees have been cut on great territories. We know that forests clean the air if we have less forests we will have dirtier air.The third problem is the problem of global warming. This is very dangerous because all the climate on the Earth is changing.I think that we must stop all this .
Football Match Slovakia-Armenia
This game took place in autumn 2011. It was a match for European football championship. It was one of the best games of our national joined team. We won 4-0. Before that we had won Slovakia in Yerevan and the score was 3-1. Some people thought the first game was only a bad luck for Slovakia and Armenia had won only by good luck. But the game in Slovakia showed that our team is stronger.
The Invention of telephone
The invention of telephone was one of the most important inventions. It was made by Alexsandr Bell. First he wanted to make the device for the deaf. After many days of work he made it. Very soon he discover that could be used in the distance then the telephones spread in many countries, but for a long time the telephones was worked only with wire. And the end of 20-th century the mobile telephone was invented which was revolution in communication. Today is hard to imagine the Humanity without telephones.
